Lotte 메이저 바카라 is expanding its site-specific LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) management system to help customers achieve their carbon neutrality goals. LCA is a method for quantitatively assessing the environmental impact of a product by inventorying the resources, energy, and pollutants involved throughout its life cycle—from raw material extraction to processing, use, and disposal.

Lotte Chemical is strengthening its LCA management system across all processes, from basic petrochemicals to high-value specialty materials. Since 2021, the Advanced Materials Division has implemented and operated an LCA tabulation system across its entire domestic and overseas operations. As of the first half of 2025, the company has completed the LCA implementation across all domestic operations in the Basic Materials Division and is currently working on expanding the system to overseas sites. Based on this system, Lotte Chemical provides product-specific LCA declarations to support its customers in achieving sustainable business practices and proactively responding to global environmental regulations.

The demand for environmental impact information—such as carbon emissions—throughout the production process is growing rapidly, alongside the tightening of environmental regulations in different countries, thus heightening the importance of LCA in the global market. The European Union, for example, enforced its Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) in 2024 and is currently considering the introduction of a Digital Product Passport that includes data on product carbon footprints, chemicals, and recyclability. Additionally, starting in 2026, the EU will impose carbon taxes on imported goods under the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
